The Fort Museum highlights history of mounties

Chances are you’ve driven past The Fort Museum in Fort Macleod on the way to Calgary or another city. The museum is a re-creation of the 1874 fort that was constructed by the North West Mounted Police. As BCN’s Micah Quinn explains, the current museum was built in 1957 and houses over 9,000 artifacts with a focus on our mounties.
