When the province shut down the Lethbridge supervised consumption site and brought in a mobile unit many thought that was a mistake since the necessary supports were no longer there for those battling drug addictions. There are others who believe it was a good thing since the province was no longer acting as an enabler. James Middleton is a recovered drug addict who has been sober for three years and he says supervised consumption sites are not the best idea.
