 Suspicious death at Westwinds apartment was murder, says police

Lethbridge Police have ruled the death of a 65-year-old man a homicide.

Police responded to a home in the 1200 block of 4 Avenue South at 1:18 am on Monday after a report of someone screaming for help. They discovered the body of a man inside of the residence. The death was confirmed suspicious and the Medical Examiner’s Office in Calgary confirmed the cause of death as a homicide. Police have arrested and have taken a man into custody in relation to the ongoing investigation.
