Grey Cup stops at Piikani Nation for youth football clinic

The excitement of next month’s Grey Cup in Calgary is being felt across southern Alberta, and last week, youth at the Piikani Nation were treated with a football clinic and a chance to see the Grey Cup trophy in person.

The CFL, alongside Capital Power and RAW Sports, gave a few dozen youth on Friday a one-day learning session of football, skill-building and community connection with help from two CFL alumni with RAW Sports.

The clinic is part of an initiative in its second year that has held similar clinics between Alberta and Ontario.

The 116th Grey Cup is scheduled for November 15^th.
