Polytechnic introducing combined Interior and Building Design Technology program

Two programs at Lethbridge Polytechnic are combining next fall to establish a new Interior and Building Design Technology program.

The new program will combine the existing Architectural Animation Technology and Interior Design Technology diplomas. Graduates from this program may find career options within interior design and architecture firms, construction, cabinetry, and more.

This marks the third new program announced this year at the Polytechnic alongside Pre-Veterinary Medicine and Primary Care Paramedic. There will also be an open house on Wednesday showcasing the new IBT program.

The program’s Chair, Brenda Brandley, says the resulting program will be the “best of both worlds.”
