It’s been a week of political gamesmanship in Ottawa. And the game could be called “Parliamentary Pipelines – Yes or NO? It started when Pierre Poilievre’s Conservatives took wording from the Memorandum of Understanding between Alberta and Ottawa and tabled a motion it hoped would force the Liberals to express support for the construction of a pipeline. The motion was presented, amended, and finally voted down. The Liberals called it a stunt. So, who won the game of parliamentary pipelines?
