Hurricanes launch season with optimism

The Lethbridge Hurricanes open their new season Friday night against the Medicine Hat Tigers. Despite an 0-4 preseason, the young squad believes it has developed strong chemistry and is ready to take the next step. Four Hurricanes attended NHL development camps this summer and will bring that experience to a rebuilding team looking to improve after finishing last overall last season.
