Yellow Fish Road reminding people of water entering city’s storm sewer
A project that started in 2007 by the City of Lethbridge is making another comeback this summer. The Yellow Fish Road is a project where volunteers hit the city streets to paint yellow fish symbols above storm drains as a reminder to only let rain water enter them.
The city’s waste and wastewater outreach specialist, Stephanie Vehnon, says contaminated water can have a severe effect on the ecosystem.
