Reconciliation art project to showcase Indigenous artists

Indigenous artists are being encouraged to design artworks that will be installed for residents in Lethbridge to see. The Telus building on 4th Avenue will be beautified, as this project is meant to showcase the talents of Blackfoot and other Indigenous peoples who live in our city. The artwork will be displayed from September until January of 2022. The Indigenous Relations Advisor for the City of Lethbridge, Perry Stein, says the timing of the announcement is significant.

Stein says preference will be given to Indigenous artists who are from the Lethbridge region.
