Golf season tees off in Lethbridge
Golf season is officially underway in Lethbridge. Staff at Henderson Lake Golf Course say members are excited to finally be back out on the green and tee-up for what’s expected to be an exciting golf season ahead. An official with the course says the green conditions are up to par and they anticipate seeing many people playing on the course.
“The turks came off, everything was all good. Obviously just a little bit of heat now will obviously spruce everything up and no, but everything’s turned out really good, of course. Looks great. Memberships are roughly the same as before. Still hard to tell, we’ll probably know a good idea within the next couple of weeks. But obviously being out here in a public golf course there’s a lot of people coming from Calgary, Edmonton, northern Saskatchewan. Obviously their golf seasons don’t start for a little bit. So we’re just getting a lot of green fee play too, from everywhere,” said Cam Waldbauer, Head Professional, Henderson Lake Golf Course.
Memberships can be purchased at the course directly.
