Police seize several dogs during high-risk search warrant

Lethbridge Police were conducting a high-risk incident this afternoon in north Lethbridge.

A residence along the 2000 block of 7^th Avenue north was searched at around 1:30 p.m. The circumstances behind the search remain unknown currently, but video shows animal services assisting in seizing multiple dogs from the side yard of the home into vehicles.

Police have since made an update confirming that public use of the area may resume, and the investigation is ongoing. No further information is expected to be released at this time.
