Lethbridge Police charge man in house party shooting
Lethbridge Police have arrested a suspect in connection with a shooting at a party house back in May.
Police say in the early morning hours of May 10th, they responded to a call about a single gunshot being fired through the second-floor bedroom window of a westside home along Lafayette Boulevard West. The initial investigation revealed the property had been rented through Airbnb and was used for a nearly week-long party by a large group of people.

The gunshot followed an altercation between several males inside the home. Police say this was not a random crime and the individuals involved know each other. Authorities now say a man who has been in custody on unrelated matters since mid-June, has been charged in connection with the shooting.
Twenty-year-old Emilio Jharlin Gagnon-Quinteros of Lethbridge is facing several charges, including pointing a firearm, intentional and reckless discharge of a firearm, intentionally discharging a firearm knowingly being reckless, failure to comply with a probation order and two counts of use of an imitation firearm while committing an indictable offence.
Police say Quinteros is currently in custody awaiting a court date.
