Polytechnic’s paramedic program shifts to 2-year diploma

A new era of paramedic training is coming to Lethbridge Polytechnic. Beginning this fall, students entering the polytechnic’s Primary Care Paramedic program will train through a new two-year diploma program, replacing the institution’s current certificate. The change brings the program in line with new educational requirements established by the Alberta College of Paramedics, the provincial regulatory body for the profession.
