Police searching for witnesses in northside home shooting

Lethbridge Police are investigating a northside shooting that reportedly occurred the morning on Wednesday and are looking for witnesses to come forward.

Police say they responded to reports of shots fired before 7am on August 12^th at a residence within the 1700 block of 6^th Avenue North. Evidence suggests that a vehicle may have been involved, however, no other homes were targeted and no injuries were reported.

After interviewing neighbours, witnesses and going through CCTV footage, police are hoping more people have information and knowledge of the incident.

They asking anyone who knows anything about the shooting, or of any suspicious activity in the area to call them at 403-328-4444. As the investigation continues, police will not release more information at this time.
