Large Cars Christmas Cruise to take place Friday

Mayor Magrath Drive will be lit up for Christmas Friday night, but not by decorations. Instead, there will be a parade of lights. The Alberta Large Cars Christmas Cruise is taking place once again. This will be the 4th year members will decorate their big rigs with Christmas lights for their convoy.
It all begins at 5:30 p.m. at Kirk’s Tire, located at 238 22nd Street north. Drivers will then head down Mayor Magrath Drive to the Agrifood Hub and Trade Centre’s south entrance at Lethbridge District and Exhibition.
The best part….the trucks will be filled with toys collected in support of Lethbridge Family Services’ Angel Tree campaign.
Following the Christmas cruise, members of the community are invited to stay and take in Glow at the AgriFood Hub and Trade Centre.
Saturday morning the rigs will unload all those gifts at Lethbridge Family Services for the Angel Tree campaign, to be distributed by LFS on December 24th.
