CTF says carbon tax increase going to hurt Canadians

When April 1st rolls around motorists in Alberta will be hit with a double whammy. The remainder of the provincial fuel tax is scheduled to come back which is another four cents a litre PLUS the federal government’s carbon tax is going up by 23 per cent. The carbon tax not only affecting us at the gas pumps but also with our home heating bills. The Alberta Director of the Canadian Taxpayers Federation, Kris Sims, says these taxes are really going to hurt.

Hal is a veteran journalist with 30 years in the industry. He worked as a parliamentary reporter on the Hill interviewing federal leaders and cabinet ministers. Hal also covered the Ottawa terrorist attack in 2014, and has worked as an anchor/reporter in Toronto, Peterborough and Calgary.
