Lethbridge Police investigating house party shooting, seeking witnesses

Lethbridge Police are asking for the public’s help as they continue to investigate a shooting at a westside home.

Just after 1am in the early morning of May 10th, a single gunshot shot was fired through the second-floor bedroom window of a home along Lafayette Boulevard West during a large house party. Numerous partygoers proceeded to flee the scene before police would arrive. On arrival, officers discovered that bear spray reportedly was discharged inside. Fortunately, there were no injuries.

Police have since learned the property had been rented through Airbnb for what turned out to be a week-long house party. There was significant foot and vehicle traffic in the area between May 5th and May 10th.
