Lethbridge Hurricanes Teddy Bear Toss

The Lethbridge Hurricanes are eagerly anticipating one of their special games this season. December 1 will be the 27th annual Toque and Teddy Toss as the Canes face off against the Saskatoon Blades. Fans attending can bring stuffed animals and touques and will be given an opportunity to donate them by throwing them on the ice. Marketing coordinator for the Hurricanes, Kathy Hong, says the yearly event is something the fans, staff and players always look forward to. 

Hong adds there are many charitable organizations that receive the donated proceeds from this event. 

Those who wish to donate are asked that the stuffed animals and toques be individually wrapped in clear plastic bags for health and sanitary reasons.
