Volunteers needed for Lethbridge airshow
Officials with the Lethbridge International Airshow say they are looking for volunteers for the end of the month two-day show. Around 125 to 150 volunteers are needed, which could include those helping out with security or looking after chalets. Dallas Harty, President of the air show, talks about the importance of having those helping hands.
“A two day show running from basically 8:00 a.m., in the morning till 6:00 at night. You need quite an array of volunteers, and without the volunteers, obviously we couldn’t do the show. The volunteers are a huge part of this. And right now, our biggest need for volunteers is for setup. We actually start setting up at the airport on the 24th, and we need some help from volunteers for setting up fence, moving our equipment onto airside.”
The Lethbridge International Air Show will run on July 29th and 30th at the airport.
