Vaccines for meat processing plant workers

The president of the union which represents Cargill Meat in High River and JBS Canada in Brooks says the province isn’t doing enough to protect essential workers.
Thomas Hesse of UFCW 401 is calling on the government to create a plan that includes pandemic pay increases, additional health and safety measures, and priority COVID-19 vaccines for those who are interested.
The union will host a town Hall meeting this Sunday (Jan 31) to hear members views on vaccination.
