No provincial police force for Alberta?

It appears as though Alberta may no longer pursuing a plan to dump the RCMP in favour of a provincial police force. Our legislative reporter, Tyler Dawson, says Justice Minister Mickey Amery received his mandate letter from Premier Danielle Smith and there was no mention of it. Justice Minister Amery says the idea of a provincial police force is not dead but his department will continue to consult with Albertans on which direction they want to go with policing.
