Michael Petrakis hopes to bring world peace perspective to Lethbridge City Council

Michael Petrakis is also seeking a spot on Lethbridge City Council. Petrakis’ only platform is achieving world peace. Petrakis says if elected, he would hope to be appointed as a ‘Peace Councillor’ by his colleagues. He says his theory works with reverse engineering, meaning we start with the end goal first, and work backwards. 

Petrakis says World Peace can be achieved from a single local community, and it is rooted in divine revelation.

There are six mayoral and 32 city councillor candidates running. The Municipal Election goes October 18.
