Lethbridge Police seek witnesses of collision causing injury

Lethbridge Police are seeking witnesses or dash cam footage from anyone who may have witnessed a collision causing serious injury.

On the morning of Tuesday, January 9, vehicles were asked to avoid the area of 40th Avenue and 13th street north while Police were responding to a collision that occurred around 8:15 a.m. involving a truck and a sedan.

An investigation into the collision was launched and determined a Chevy Silverado travelling southbound on 13 Street North collided with a Honda Civic that was eastbound on 40 Avenue North. 

Two occupants of the Civic, a 39-year-old man and a 43-year-old woman were transported to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.  While the 16-year-old driver of the Silverado attended the hospital on his own.

Police are asking for any witnesses or anyone who might have dash cam footage of the incident to come forward.
