Homeless advocate speaks out about arrest

A Lethbridge homeless advocate in our city says he was arrested earlier this week. Chis Rowley says it took place during the tent encampment clean-up near the Civic Centre Track in our city on Wednesday. The homeless occupants had to pack up their belongings and move on from the area as a fence was also being installed. As BCN’s Micah Quinn explains, Rowley says he didn’t even know what he was being arrested for during the altercation with police.
