Free legal advice event to be held by Lethbridge Legal Guidance Society

Lethbridge Legal Guidance Society is offering a free 30 minute phone consultation this weekend for anyone who is in need of legal advice. Spots have filled up for March 27, but there are still appointments available for March 28. The company says that the final spots are filling up fast.

The Community Programs Manager, Kathryn Linder, says that this is the second year the event has been put on at the office by the company, “Last year the event was cancelled because it was the start of COVID, and nobody knew what was happening.”

Linder adds that residents will have to provide some contact information, income information for future referrals, and a few details on the legal matter at hand.

“If we can’t accommodate, and they do qualify for our services, we can put them on a list for a future clinic. We’ll do what we can to provide other referrals if they need to,” says Linder.
