Discussing Freedom Convoy organizer King’s case
The Crown played an 11-minute video of scenes from the 2022 Freedom Convoy protest in Ottawa on Monday morning as one of the organizers, Pat King’s trial, go underway. King has pleaded not guilty to nine charges including mischief, counselling others to commit mischief, disobeying a court order and obstructing police. The Crown says King presented himself as an outspoken leader throughout the demonstration and documented his experience with a number of livestreams on social media. Videos of those streams are expected to be entered as evidence.
