The Canadian Taxpayers Federation is calling on the Trudeau government to rescind its grocery tax threat. Ottawa is demanding major Canadian grocers come up with a plan to stablize prices which is also receiving pushback from the food industry. The PM is threatening tax measures if prices don’t stabilize. To discuss this issue in more detail is Franco Terrazzano, the federal director of the CTF, who joined BCN’s Hal Roberts from Ottawa.
