City of Lethbridge joins in water sharing agreement

The Water Sharing agreement is a proactive measure, also being carried out in Lethbridge. It will combat the drought conditions that we may experience later this summer. Joel Sanchez, Director of Infrastructure and Services, for the City of Lethbridge, announced that for this they will make sure to work together to reduce water use by 10 per cent of annual consumption this summer. The measure will begin in May and will remain until September of this year.
