Amanda Jensen seeking nomination for Alberta NDP Lethbridge-East

Another person has thrown their hat into the ring for the NDP Lethbridge-East nomination. Amanda Jensen has announced her intent to seek the nomination for the 2023 provincial election. Jensen is currently the executive director of Volunteer Lethbridge. She will square off against former MLA Maria Fitzpatrick and city councillor Rob Miyashiro. 

Jensen says she was drawn into the NDP after needing compassionate leave while caring for her child, which ended with her position being terminated. 

Although a provincial election hasn’t been called in Alberta, it’s expected to be held sometime between March and May of 2023.
