Alberta NDP revealing new economic strategy – MLA Rakhi Pancholi

The Alberta NDP is in discussions with municipalities about the party’s new economic strategy which has yet to be publicly announced.

Deputy leader and MLA for Edmonton-Whitemud Rakhi Pancholi met with local Chamber of Commerce members regarding some of the city’s issues which predominantly highlight job creation and education.

For clarification, this is separate from the Alberta Affordability agenda, the NDP announced last Thursday. The NDP also announced on Saturday that four current MLA’s will be retiring and will not be running for re-election. The list includes Joe Ceci, Dr. Luanne Metz, Marlin Schmidt and Lori Sigurdson.
