Shawanda Backfat is an Indigenous filmmaker from southern Alberta. She recently teamed up with Telus Storyhive allowing her to create the short film called The Old People. Shawanda joins us from Siksika Nation to talk more about her film. She tells BCN’s Hal Roberts how she was able to connect with Telus to make her cool film.
