Kevin Pillar in Lethbridge to participate in baseball festivities

As Lethbridge continues their Grand Slam of Baseball festivities this week, a prominent figure in the sport stopped by our city to meet with fans.

Toronto Blue Jays alumni, Kevin Pillar, met with fans at the westside Brown’s Social house before attending the Canadian baseball Legends gala on Wednesday night. Pillar is best known for his defensive play in centerfield. He announced his retirement just last summer, and has since made stops across the country promoting the sport.

Pillar will headline a kids baseball camp on Friday and will also be in attendance at the Lethbridge Bulls game that evening.
