Coalhurst campground shifts to group rental model
A southern Alberta campground is shifting its services from individual overnight camping to group rental use. It is the Miners Memorial Park Campground in Coalhurst. Mayor Deb Florence says as of May 15, 2026, the campground no longer operates as a traditional drop-in camping facility. Instead, the entire site is available as a private, bookable venue for gatherings, celebrations, and group events.
The mayor says the Miners Park Campground will remain open for booking until the middle of September. For information on booking, please visit the Coalhurst Town’s website at www.coalhurst.ca/campground or call the Town Office at 403-381-3033.
