Coaldale donation boosts Bringing Hearts Home Campaign

The Bringing Hearts Home Campaign is getting closer to reaching its fundraising goal, as community support for the cause continues to grow. Today, a generous donation of $300,000 was made by the Coaldale Community Wellness Association.

At Coaldale Civic Square, local officials recognized the growing regional momentum behind efforts to bring advanced cardiac care closer to home for Southern Albertans. Colleen Van Raalte with the Coaldale Community Wellness Association, says the campaign reflects the community’s commitment to improving local health care access.

The Bringing Hearts Home Campaign launched in September 2024 as a 30-month initiative with the goal of raising $30 million to expand cardiac care in southern Alberta. Organizers aim to complete the campaign by winter 2027.
