Six Albertan cities among lowest rental rates nationwide

The latest National Rent Report shows a further national decline, with six cities in Alberta finding themselves in the top 10 of lowest rent averages in the top 60 Canadian markets.

Lethbridge is the 9th cheapest city for renting in Canada, with an average of $1,570. One-bedroom prices go for $1,321, while two-bedrooms settled at $1,628.

The report suggests that the year-over-year declines each month are beginning to soften, while B.C. and Alberta continue to witness steep drops in prices at double digit rates.
