Local Forever Canada volunteer chooses message of “unity”
With the Alberta referendum just two months away, campaigning has ramped up for those wanting to remain in Canada, and also for those who promote seceding from the country.
Signs under the Forever Canadian banner have begun appearing across Lethbridge, as local volunteers attempt to spread a message of unity. One local volunteer, Al Olson, says he believes his team has already sent out over 2,700 signs throughout the city.
In the meantime, Forever Canada’s Unity Bus tour has been travelling across the province this summer, with the final stops ending by September 5th, a month before the referendum.
