Taber hosts nation’s best marksmen in Handgun Nationals
If you hear gun shots near Taber, don’t be alarmed…the best small arms shooters in the country are headed there this week as the IPSC Canadian Handgun Nationals attract the nation’s biggest marksmen.
The Taber Shooting Foundation are hosting pre-matches on Monday and Tuesday featuring the events Range Officials, Sponsors, and Match support staff, but come Wednesday, 350 people from coast to coast will compete in 18 main stages using handguns from nine-millimeters and larger.
Organizers and staff of the event say this week highlights how tight-knit the gun community spans across Canada. The Handgun Nationals continue until Sunday.
