Week of activities honouring Blackfoot culture and reconciliation

A week of events celebrating Blackfoot culture and promoting reconciliation is coming to Lethbridge in September. The Honouring Traditions and Reconciliation Society is organizing a series of activities, including a Princess Pageant, Pow Wow and Artisan Market, Indigenous Fashion Show, and a family-friendly 2K/5K run and walk.

The association will kick off its series of events on September 12. An Indigenous Fashion Show will be held on September 18 from 7 to 9 p.m., followed by a Pow Wow and Artisan Market at the Agri-food Hub on September 19 and 20.
