Lethbridge hosting Junior Little League Championship

Spitz Stadium will be a busy place this week as Lethbridge plays host to the 2024 Junior Little League Championships.

Seven teams from across -Canada are vying for the opportunity to advance to the Little League World Series in August.

Lethbridge has hosted the championship since 2010 and tournament director Kevin Kvame says organizers take pride in hosting a top-notch event on and off the field.

The tournament, for players 12 to 14 years of age, got underway Tuesday at Spitz Stadium and runs until next Wednesday when a champion will be crowned.
