Coaldale receives $4.5 million for major water project
The Alberta government is giving the town of Coaldale 4.5 million dollars. According to MLA Grant Hunter the funding will be used for a major water infrastructure project. Coaldale Mayor, Jack Van Rijn, says the money is a huge blessing for his community. He expressed the importance of this investment for the municipality since the funds will be used to build a new potable water reservoir and a pumping station. Construction on the new reservoir and pump station will begin next month and should be completed by late 2025.
