CTF explains some of the 2024 tax hikes

When we think of New Year’s Resolutions we often time think of getting in shape and losing weight. How about losing more taxes? Well, it appears as though the opposite may be true for 2024. To talk about this in more detail is Franco Terrazzano, federal director of the Canadian Taxpayers Federation who joined us from Ottawa. Franco, Canadians need help with the rising cost of living but it appears as though the feds will be reaching deeper into our pockets with some tax hikes in the new year? Let’s start with the payroll taxes and then talk about those carbon taxes.
