10th annual Black History Month at Lethbridge Polytechnic

The beginning of February marks the start of the 30th anniversary of Black History Month across Canada, and post-secondaries around the country are doing their part to celebrate. That includes Lethbridge Polytechnic, where students, employees and the entire Lethbridge community are invited to come together to celebrate black pride, culture and history. This year is also a milestone for the institution, as the polytechnic celebrates 10 years of recognizing black history on campus.

On Tuesday guest speakers shared lived experiences while highlighting African and Afro-Caribbean culture.

Throughout February, the polytechnic will host events highlighting b
lack history through cultural celebrations, food, community connections, discussions and an inclusive fashion show to close out the month.
