Street Sweeping Begins in Lethbridge

Nothing says Spring like dusty dirty streets. But it is also the time when City crews begin passing through neighbourhoods sweeping up debris that has settled since last year. The 2024 campaign began today on the west side, followed by north and then south of the city; however, sweepers may have to alternate zones to avoid waste collection.  Weather permitting, no-parking signs will be placed on the street 24 hours before sweeping begins. Parking tickets will be issued for those not complying.

Neighborhood street sweeping is completed on weekdays from 7:30 a.m – 3:30 p.m. All residential roadways will be completed over approximately 810 weeks.
