Police warn of violent predators targeting kids

Lethbridge Police are warning parents and caregivers to be aware of violent online groups which have been targeting children. They say last month, they received information that through online chats these groups are grooming young people manipulating them to participate in self harm, send sexually explicit images and to even act out violently against others. Sargeant Kerry Shima with ALERT’s ICE division says these predators are targeting vulnerable youth.
