Olympic athlete calls final race ‘bittersweet’

The 2020 Tokyo Olympics wrapped on August 7th, with our Canadian women scoring fourth place in the 4X400-metre relay. Sage Watson, the team’s final runner, pulled up just shy of that medal. She says she was disappointed in the result, but she knows the team will be strong moving forward into future Olympic games.

The United States won gold, Poland silver, and Jamaica finished out the medal winners with a bronze spot.
