The town of Coaldale is seeing some nice growth. Town officials say from 2018-2022 the town saw the second highest population growth in the region trailing only Lethbridge by 0.4 per cent. During that time frame the population in Lethbridge grew by 6.2 per cent while in Coaldale the increase was 5.8 per cent. The provincial average was 4.3 per cent. Town officials say they understand why more people are moving to their region since the town has a lot to offer.
