Transit riders in Lethbridge will have some getting used to starting next Wednesday. The City of Lethbridge will be changing over to its CityLINK network, which will see fixed routes, demand response zones and a new rapid 10/10 service. The goal is to decrease ride time while still offering adequate services for users in low-ridership areas.
Lethbridge Transit General Manager, Tim Sanderson, says the new network is in response to city council asking transit to reduce their budget $350,000 per year.
If you have any questions regarding the change, you can check out the City of Lethbirgde’s website or call 311. As well, transit users can access the trip planner tool through MyRide.
