Meet Albertas new chief medical officer | January 5th, 2025
Well-known Lethbridge doctor Vivien Suttorp has taken on a new role. She has been named the new Chief Medical Officer of Health for the province of Alberta. She is the permanent replacement for Dr. Deena Hinshaw who was fired by Premier Danielle Smith for her handling of provincial COVID measures. Dr. Suttorp has worked in public health, preventative and community medicine in both urban and rural settings for over 25 years. And we are happy to have her join us to talk about this new role.
