Lethbridge begins intersection improvement initiative for the summer
The City of Lethbridge has begun their annual intersection improvement program to address capacity requirements, enhancing safety and reducing congestion in existing areas of the city.
Crews will be working this week on improving the intersection at 13th Street N and 40th Avenue/Blackfoot Boulevard North near Legacy Park. The new upgrades will put in place a four-way stop, accessibility improvements, curb extensions and pedestrian crossing improvements. Motorists will be asked to follow detours and drive with caution.
Similar intersection improvements will take place in a dozen projects across the city this spring and summer. The full list can be found at Get Involved Lethbridge.
