Lethbridge law enforcement responds to critical blood shortage

As Canada’s blood supply continues to shrink during the busy summer season, police officers, RCMP members and Alberta Sheriffs in Lethbridge are rolling up their sleeves to encourage others to donate. Canadian Blood Services says blood inventory has dropped by nearly 20 per cent since the beginning of June, raising concerns that patient care could be affected if donations don’t increase.
